Training

Members of the Denmark Running Club are welcome to join in any of our organised training sessions. These sessions are a great opportunity to run with likeminded people, work on your fitness and improve your speed.

Early-bird Tuesdays, 6:00am

Join us at Rivermouth Rail Trail Bridge on Inlet Drive for out and back on the trail. Your choice of distance, your choice of speed. Bring your bathers for a quick dip in the river to freshen up!

Track Wednesdays, from 3.30pm
(Starting Term 4 2020)

Looking to boost your speed? Join us at McLean Park for Track Wednesdays from 5pm (see our kids training page for training times for youngsters). These challenging sessions will have you running intervals like a pro, working on your speed and fitness at the same time. All ages and abilities welcome.

Early-bird Thursdays, 6:00am

Join the hardcore runners on Thursday mornings. Meet at the Visitors Centre for the ‘Inlet loop’ of about 8km (5km option too!)

Scenic Sundays, 7:00am or 8:30am

Join us at various locations for runs that celebrate the beautiful part of the world that we live in. These sessions are great to get some k’s under the belt in a friendly and relaxed format. Watch out on Facebook or direct message on Messenger for the location of each week’s run (note: we will not hold these runs on weekends that we have scheduled events).
